In May, the Club
holds a plant sale for the public. This is
our most important fund-raiser. The Club relies on the money
raised to support our Philanthropic activities.

One summer Saturday afternoon is spent visiting members
who have invited us to tour their gardens. The second summer tour is spent visiting gardens
and/or Nurseries owned by non members either locally or, more
usually, outside our club area. Transportation may be arranged by car
Annual Horticultural Show
This is held each August and is open to both Club members and the
general public. This is a judged competition but ample opportunity is
provided for those who wish to just display their gardening successes.
This is an opportunity for people to enjoy seeing the best of flower,
vegetable and baking displays in a congenial atmosphere. A tea is
provided, allowing a place to sit and chat. View 2018 Schedule
Before the September meeting we enjoy either a Harvest Pot Luck or a
Corn Boil. At present this is held at the Wolfville Farmers Market.
Our AGM, held in November, takes the form of a banquet with
reports, election of officers, presentation of awards and
a speaker. It is held in a different venue each year
NSAGC Annual Convention
members of the Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs (NSAGC)
and attend their Annual Convention. Each spring we have a District
Meeting with other member garden clubs in our area.
