Each year in the spring, the Club holds a large public Plant Sale. This much-anticipated event is our most important fundraiser. The Club relies on the money raised to support our various philanthropic activities. You can find a vast array of annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and shrubs, all grown by our members or community partners. In recent years there has been an increased interest by the public in our native and pollinator-friendly plants and shrubs.
Annually, under the guidance of the Annapolis Valley Regional Library, the Club selects and funds the purchase of plant, gardening, or horticulture themed books to add to the library's collection.
The Club awards two bursaries annually to full-time NSCC students enrolled in Horticulture and Landscape Technology at Kingstec Campus.
The Club supports the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens with an annual donation.
